These are especially suitable for floor fixing, when after inserting the shield into the pre-drilled hole, objects ie: heavy machinery, switchgear, racking can be moved into place before the bolt is then screwed into the shield. When tightened, the segments of the shield expand, giving a high load bearing grip.
